Dr. Monika Jurgowska PT,DPT

Dr. Monika Jurgowska graduated from Rutgers School of Health Professions in 2019 where she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She began her career as a PT in Kessler Rehabilitation Center where she gained significant exposure to many orthopedic conditions and diagnoses. During her time in Kessler, Monika began her journey as a pelvic floor physical therapist.

 

Currently, she also works as a physical therapist  treating the geriatric population from the comfort of their homes. She has gained experience treating individuals who are living with neurologic conditions such as Parkinson’s, Cerebral Palsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Dementia, and Stroke. She has also treated individuals with cardiovascular, pulmonary and orthopedic conditions.

 

Monika enjoys working with each individual to optimize their experience in therapy, whether it involves including family members into treatment or listening to music of their youth. 

 

She joined Optimal Movement PT because she is passionate about spreading awareness on pelvic floor physical therapy, in order to improve the quality of life for women of all ages. Additionally, she finds great joy in improving function and independence for individuals living with neurologic and orthopedic conditions.
